"The Show for the Tent Professional" for 2010 is coming back to the New England area.  Hosted by the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Warwick/Providence, Rhode Island this venue is centrally located in the heart of the New England region. Crowne Plaza is a great location for our attendees with easy access by I-95 or TF Green Airport.

Once again, Exhibitors will be featured under three large trade show tents.

MATRA is providing a reduction in conference fees for companies bringing four or more attendees. Cost for attending "Masters in Tenting 2010" will be $100 for the first Rental attendee, $75 each for the second and third attendee, and $60 for each additional attendee from the same company. Registration includes:

• Tuesday seminars
• Viewing of tent installs
• Wednesday seminars
• Wednesday's Grilled Luncheon
• MATRA Games
• Wednesday and Thursday Trade Show
• Thursday Brunch and Speaker.

Tent Installation and Safety Program at the MATRA 2010 Conference

IFAI will present a general seminar covering four tent modules: general safety, site surveys, squaring and layouts and anchoring on Monday afternoon from 1-5 p.m. Industry professionals will facilitate Tuesday’s seminars which include: “How NOT to Weight Your Tents”; “Tent Flooring Basics/Custom Applications”,” Automated Inventory Management Workshop”, “Sales/Service Workshop for the Event Vendor; “Sales/Service Workshop for the Event Renter”; “Gizmos and Gadgets” and “Large Equipment Training” on a 5,000 lb. or standard Forklift, Lull, and Skid Steerer where an attendance certificate will be presented to each attendee. Don’t miss the speed roundtables on Wednesday morning covering a variety of relevant industry topics and some interactive seminars on rental contracts facilitated by legal counsel and upscale lighting and décor presenting special effect enhancements.

MATRA Tuesday Night Vendor/Welcome Reception

After a full day of Educational Seminars, including viewing the installation of tents, join your fellow attendees at the Vendor/Welcome Reception. This event provides you an opportunity to thank the many Vendors who support this Conference each year in a relaxed social atmosphere.

Join us from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Rotunda at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located just off side from the main lobby area.

Wednesday Night MATRA Awards Dinner & Entertainment

Wednesday, the last full day of activities for the conference, celebrates the accomplishments of our industry leaders and MATRA Games winners with an exceptional dinner event. Winners of the MATRA Games, held earlier in the day, will be recognized.

MATRA is proud to be presenting the 2010 Hall of Honor Award to Jerry O’Connell who recently retired from HDO Production, L.P., Bethesda, MD, as part of our continuing acknowledgement of honoring our industry leaders. Join us as we celebrate Jerry’s industry accomplishments during the MATRA Awards Dinner.

After an exciting awards presentation, enjoy some down time in the” MATRA Masters Tent”. Cash bar, live band and some interactive entertainment will be available from 9:30 pm until Midnight.
