The AAA, Four Diamond Award winning venue is centrally located in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic region. Dover Downs Hotel and Casino is an official Delaware Green Lodging property home to the Dover International Speedway, world class harness racing, six restaurants, nearly 3200 slot machines and electronic table games as well as the new Toppers Spa/Salon.

Tent Installation and Safety Program at the MATRA 2009 Conference

Two Associations, MATRA's "Show for the Tent Professional" and IFAI's “Setting the Standards in the Tent Rental Industry", are partnering to present a ONE Day “Training for the Tent Professional” Workshop at this year's MATRA Conference. The workshop will be on Tuesday, Nov 3rd starting at 8:30 am sharp and will end at 4;00 pm. When times are tough, don’t cut back on safety, train!
This workshop, presented as the second in a series of training workshops focuses on advanced anchoring and tent installation techniques, safety concerns with overhead obstructions, how to react safely to job site situations, avoiding bodily injuries, crew supervision and equipment usage.   Attendees are required to have some experience as a tent installer to attend this workshop but attendance at last year’s workshop is not mandatory.
Space will be limited. An additional fee of $79 per person will be required for this workshop. NOTE: Pre-registration price of $79 by 10/12 or $99 from10/13 to 10/25. No on-site registration for this course available.
Handouts, refreshments and lunch will be provided. Attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course.

After a full day of Educational Seminars, including viewing the installation of tents, join your fellow attendees at the Vendor/Welcome Reception. This event provides you an opportunity to thank the many Vendors who support this Conference each year in a relaxed social atmosphere.

Wednesday, the last full day of activities for the conference, celebrates the accomplishments of our industry leaders and MATRA Games winners with an exceptional dinner event. Winners of the MATRA Games, held earlier in the day, will be recognized.
